MacPulse is a macOS application for system monitoring, developed and operated by Multimodal Solutions. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information when you use our application.

MacPulse is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect personal data, analytics, or tracking information from our users.

Data Collection

MacPulse collects and displays system metrics (CPU, memory, network, disk, thermal, battery, and GPU data) solely for the purpose of showing this information to you. This data:

  • Remains entirely on your device
  • Is stored locally in a SQLite database for historical trends
  • Is never transmitted to our servers or any third party
  • Can be deleted at any time by removing the application data

Local Storage

All application settings, preferences, and historical data are stored locally on your Mac. We do not have access to this data. The application stores:

  • Historical system metrics (up to 30 days)
  • User preferences and settings
  • Custom fan curves and profiles
  • Performance session recordings

License Verification

When you purchase a MacPulse license, minimal communication occurs with our licensing server to validate your license key. This process:

  • Only transmits the license key itself
  • Does not collect usage metrics or personal information
  • Does not track your system specifications

Update Checking

MacPulse periodically checks for application updates. These requests do not transmit any personal information or usage data.

Third-Party Services

MacPulse does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The application operates entirely offline except for license verification and update checks.

Children's Privacy

MacPulse is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
